As the name suggests, Cars & Dunners is dedicated to photographing automobiles and scenery around Dunedin. Our focus is primarily automotive photography, though we also love to showcase the city’s breath-taking landscape, architecture, and culture.
Behind the camera
Hello
I’m Joreb, the fella behind the camera. I’ve been passionate about cars growing up, an ordinary parking lot being my idea of Disneyland as a kid. In high-school, I picked up photography and I’ve been shooting ever since.
after moving to Dunedin in 2018, I realised there’s endless opportunities to explore with my camera. I grew fond of the extensive car culture, and accessibility to the range of scenery only 15 minutes from town. Cars and Dunedin are the two subjects I photograph most, hence the name Cars & Dunners.
Why we take Photos
Photography to me is more than just creating an art piece. The true value behind it is getting to know the people, hearing their stories, and learning from them. There’s no better feeling as a photographer than seeing the joy a photograph can bring to someone.
